The 13th Seoul International Altaistic Conference

The Altaic Society of Korea is pleased to announce the 13th Seoul International Altaistic Conference, which will be held at Chonbuk National University in Korea on July 13~16, 2017. The conference aims at stimulating worldwide research on Altaic studies. Scholars who are concerned with any area of Altaic studies including languages, literature, history, or cultures of Altaic peoples would be welcomed. The official languages of the conference are Korean, English, Mongolian, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. Presentations will be 20 minutes long, with 10 minutes following for discussion. Registration fee: ￦100,000 ($100, JPY10,000, CNY600)
● The registration fee in US Dollar and Japanese Yen is tentative and will be fixed afterwards according to the exchange rate.
● The registration fee includes conference registration, pre-printed conference proceedings, reception (July 13), two lunches and two dinners (July 14~15), and an academic tour.
● The registration fee should be paid onsite in cash.
Accommodation at Hunsan Gunji House in Chonbuk National University: ￦40,000 per double or ONDOL room, and ￦48,000 per twin room (1 night, respectively).
We recommend you to visit Korea by tourist visa.
