This paper attempts to analyze and study the suffix ‐mak in the Sibe language and concludes that it is an inherent linguistic phenomenon in the Sibe language. Accordingly ‐mak used in colloquial Sibe can almost all be found in the written language with the only exception when it is used as an instrumental case.
