Sakha language is one of the most ancient Turkic languages. Now the scholars have begun to conduct research on semantics, in particular, on semantics of verbs. This article is devoted to description of the yakut verbs that mean the motions of touching and concern the verbal group of causing physical effect on an object. There has been considered the question of researching verbal lexical-semantic groups in Russian, Turkic and Sakha language. The author gives the classification of lexical-semantic group of the verbs of touching in Sakha language. This verbal group includes about 50 verbs which are distinguished into 4 micro-groups. The centre and the periphery of the lexical-semantic group of the verbs of touching are determined. The article considers the basic verbs, their lexical and semantic variants, their differences from each other. These verbs are supposed to represent the situation of touching in Sakha language.
