Partha Pratim Kaishap

 

Dr. Kaishap was born in Chautara, Assam, India in the year 1985. He received Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of North Bengal in 2010 and Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dibrugarh University in 2012. Then he worked as project fellow at CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, Assam in the projects ‘Open Source Drug Discovery’ and ‘Affordable Cancer Therapeutics’. He received Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dibrugarh University under the joint supervision of Dr. Sanjib Gogoi and Prof. Dipak Chetia in July, 2018. Then he worked as Postdoctoral fellow in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada till March, 2019. He joined Centre for Chemical Proteomics in August, 2019 and currently, he is working as Postdoctoral Researcher in Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University.

He works on privileged-substructure-based Diversity Oriented Synthesis (pDOS) for the development of new therapeutic agents.
