BIOGRAPHY

Younghee Shin was born in 1983 in Busan, Korea. She received her B.S. and M.S. degree in Chemistry at Ewha Womans University, Korea. She received her Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry at University of Wisconsin-Madison, under the supervision of Prof. Samual H. Gellman. She has joined our group in spring, 2015. She is now a post-doctoral researcher in Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University.

RESEARCH

Her studies are about modulating tau protein interactions using small molecules to develop therapeutics for tauopathies.
