Illoong Kwon is a professor at Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA), Seoul National University. Professor Kwon received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. Before joining Seoul National University in 2010, he was an assistant professor at University of Michigan and State Univeristy of New York at Albany. He is working on both theoretical and empirical research in the fields of Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, and Corporate Finance.
Professor
Kwon is particularly interested in the principal-agent problems and innovation in public and
private organizations. His current research topics include theoretical
and empirical analyses of
governance index, specific human capital, and entrepreneurship.
